Hannah was born and raised in Vietnam. She has a passion for food since a young age. She worked in the Tourist Industry for many years and this career required her to show the customers cultures of Vietnam and many other Asian countries. Finding the best street food locations, restaurants and choosing the best dishes and tasting menus were a major part of her job. In addition, Hannah was hands-on where she improvised pop-up restaurants and cooked delicious meals for her cycling tour groups when they travelled through remote parts of Vietnam. Hannah also lived in the U.S. and Australia for the past 20 years. During this time, she studied and worked in the Marketing and Creative industries. She embraces the Western culture whilst protecting the authenticity of her Vietnamese heritage. Her foods reflect these qualities and her creativity has brought magic to her food creations.

Sam grew up in an Italian family. His dad grew fruit and vegetables in his backyard and his mum cooked the most authentic and delicious Italian meals. In his adulthood, Sam lived in different continents and travelled the world. In his previous career he had many opportunities to explore different cuisines from street foods to the finest dining around the globe. He knows what good food tastes like. This knowledge has helped the creation of MiAnna Foods' vision, where providing customers with high-quality and delicious foods are the keys of the business.
Hannah's Vietnamese name is My Hanh (pronounced Mee-Han). Her Italian father-in-law found it was challenging to say her name, so he called her MiAnna. This man would prefer MiAnna's food over any restaurant on any day, including on his 90th birthday. Thanks to this big love, the name MiAnna Foods was chosen for our business. A big part of this name is also dedicated to his beloved wife Anna.
